Nebraska Rural Community Teams Qualify for Unique Scholarship

Rural Economic Development Center There is still time to register for the Heartland Center's premier training institute designed to provide rural community leaders practical applications that can be used immediately in your community. These skills include appreciative inquiry, clues to rural community survival, effective people attraction strategies and branding your community. Through our partnership with the Nebraska-based Sherwood Foundation, we are able to provide scholarships for rural Nebraska community leadership teams to attend this year's institute for $150 per team member. In order to qualify, you must send at least a two-person team from your community. Registration for others is $450 which is still a discount from our normal registration of $750! Your registration fee covers tuition, breaks during the three days and lunch from Tuesday through Thursday. Dinner meals are on your own and there is a wide variety of restaurants in Nebraska City. Lodging at the Lied Lodge is $119.00/single and $129.00/double plus tax and includes next day breakfast. At these rates, registrations are filling up and capacity is limited by our training facilities at Lied Lodge.
