entrepreneurship conference and capacity building webinar

Two opportunities to take note of below:

1.       The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship are co-sponsoring a conference on entrepreneurship. More information and registration is available here: (the link below is incorrect).

2.       The Center for Rural Entrepreneurship is also sponsoring a free webinar looking at community capacity building using the principles and experiences learned from the HomeTown Competitiveness program run by the Heartland Center for Leadership Development.

Solution Mountain

Over the past year, I have gotten to know Rob Gilmore with Solution Mountain. Rob is a remarkable person who has a passion for helpingSolution Mountain logo  entrepreneurs succeed. He's developed a unique way to help communities identify and engage growth entrepreneurs as a way to grow their economies. FED Entrepreneurship Conference  

The Federal Reserve of Kansas City is hosting a great conference - Grow Your Own, Entrepreneur Based Economic Development in Kearney, Nebraska on October 30th and 31st. We are partners with the FED on this event and it should be one of the strongest E Conferences in some time. For information or to register, click here.

Working With Entrepreneurs Webinars

Over the past four years, more than 500 individuals, organizations and  communities have participated in the Center's Working with Entrepreneurs webinar-based training. Our Fall 2012 five-part training series begins on October 4th and runs through November 1st. These sessions are community focused, practical, and full of take-aways you can put to work immediately. These webinars are recorded for your later use and come complete with session guides.
