Because the May 24 webinar is full, the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) will host an additional webinar on Thursday, June 7, focused on the Community-Oriented Connectivity Broadband Grant Program (Community Connect Grant Program). This webinar will inform participants about the program’s major eligibility and regulatory requirements and provide detailed guidance on submitting a successful grant application. There will also be time for participants to ask the speakers specific questions about putting together an application.

About the Grants

Community Connect Grants are made available to the most rural, unserved and economically challenged areas. The funds are used to build broadband infrastructure. Awardees are also required to establish community centers that offer free public access to broadband.

More information about the Community Connect Grant Program is available on our website at: http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/utp_commconnect.html
